Giovanni Benvenuto, from Abruzzo, came to Calabria, to Francavilla Angitola (not far from Pizzo Calabro) to set up a vintner firm with its own vineyards on the lands that had belonged to his paternal grandfather. The wines of the Benevenuto cellars – Zibbibo, Malvasia, Greco Nero and Magliocco – will integrate you into a unique experience of taste,
surrounded by magical terrains. A decanter of the robust flavours and authentic tastes of the Defence of Slow Food “Zibbibbo of Pizzo”. Giovanni is working to re-instate this quality vineyard that otherwise would hae been destroyed.

The vineyard grows on natural terraces overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. An enchanting view over green hills covered in ancient olive groves, cork oaks and Mediterranean maquis to the Angitola delta and the sea with the distant Stomboli volcanic island as its centrepiece.
